What is Fudge?

Fudge is a type of confectionery that originated in the United States in the 19th century. It is a dense, rich, and creamy candy made with sugar, cream, butter, and other flavorings.

What is a Fudge Block?

Fudge Blocks are a handmade confection exclusive to San Antonio Fudge Co! They consist of a large square of fudge topped with a layer of chocolate on top. Each flavor has a unique design too! Nothing beats the satisfying snap of the tempered chocolate on top followed up with sinking your teeth into our creamy fudge. You're sure to be delighted!

What is a Fudge Truffle?

You're in for a treat! A fudge truffle is a bite size piece of fudge fully "encased" in chocolate. In other words, fudge is the filling with a chocolate shell on the outside. Each truffle has a unique design matching the flavor. They're all handmade, and our truffle boxes make for an excellent gift!

What is Fudge Spread?

First off, thank you for reading through our FAQ section. Pat yourself on the back for making it this far. Fudge Spreads are spreadable fudge (lol). Each spread flavor comes in a glass jar. They can be microwaved to soften the fudge and drizzled over ice cream (think hot fudge sauce), used in or on baked goods, stirred into coffee (just like you would with cream), or eaten right out of the jar. What makes your fudge special?

Our fudge is a unique blend of luxury chocolate and creamy, delicious fudge. Each piece has a decadent flavor and is topped with gourmet chocolate and a one-of-a-kind design. Everything is handmade in the heart of Texas!

Is this really the tastiest and most beautiful fudge ever?

Yes, of course. (we might be biased... 😀) As far as we can tell, no one makes fudge like us. We highly recommend you give it a try and experience it for yourself!

Do you offer other sweet treats?

Yes! We offer all kinds of fudge truffles, spreads, novelty items, and have some unique products on our roadmap. We release products and flavors often so keep checking back to see what's new!

Do you offer shipping?

Yes! We ship nationwide and offer a no melt guarantee. Orders are shipped Monday-Wednesday during months with elevated temperatures to avoid your package sitting in a hot warehouse over the weekend. Shipping options may also be limited to next day air during these times to avoid delivery of melted product.

Do you offer local pickup?

Yes! We offer local pickup at our location at 118 Broadway St., Suite 213 in downtown San Antonio, TX. Select the local pickup option for the products you would like to order and review the instructions at checkout. (Make sure to try some samples when you pickup! 😋)

Where is your storefront? Do you have pickup instructions?

We are located at 118 Broadway St., in downtown San Antonio, TX. We have a unique spot on the second floor of the World Trade Center building. Walk into the lobby, take the elevator to the second floor, take a left, then take a second left, and we are the shop with the large windows on the right. See you soon!

Do you offer dessert delivery near me?

We offer dessert delivery in San Antonio, TX and surrounding communities. When selecting a product, enter your delivery address to see if we deliver to your location. All orders are delivered next day between the hours of 10 am and 4 pm CST Monday - Saturday. Orders placed on Saturday will be delivered Monday. Please ensure there is someone available to accept delivery as the product will melt if left outside. If there is no one to accept delivery, the product will be left outside. We cannot offer a refund for melted product. We strongly advise ordering for a time when someone is available to accept delivery.

What if I cannot accept delivery?

For now, we strongly advise that you order for a time when delivery can be accepted. If you are not at home during the day, then we are happy to deliver to your place of work, etc.

Is it safe to order if I am allergic to nuts?

Due to the way our products are made and packaged, it is possible that they could come in contact with nuts or a nut substance. Therefore, we do not recommend you order any of our products if you have a severe nut allergy. If you have a question or concern, please email support@safudgeco.com.

Do you have products that adhere to specific diets, such as gluten free?

At this time, we do not offer products that adhere to specific diets. For gluten specifically, there is no flour in our fudge but there could be in certain mix-ins such as cookies. If you have a severe gluten allergy, we advise against ordering as our products may contain or come in to contact with gluten. How big are your fudge blocks?

Our standard size fudge blocks are approximately 3 inches wide, 3 inches long, and an 1.5 inches deep. They weigh approximately 6 ounces. Product sizes will have slight variation as everything is made by hand.

How long will my fudge last? How should I store it?

Shelf-life for our fudge products is 90 days. We recommend storing at room temperature, wrapped tightly in its packaging or another container that will keep the fudge from drying out. We do not recommend storing in the refrigerator as it is too humid of an environment. If you would like to store the fudge for longer (months), then wrap tightly and freeze.
